Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Furlong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furlong kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Say it Ain't So. Valentine is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Buy the Drugs. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Furlong or perhaps it was just good defense by Valentine which made him look bad.
Valentine throws a right and a left that Furlong avoids nicely.
Valentine misses with a straight left.
A big left from Valentine misses.
Furlong shoots in and drives through. Valentine sprawls well.
Valentine misses with a hook. Furlong ducked under it nicely.
Valentine throws a shot to the body.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Furlong.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Valentine throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Furlong.

Dick Valentine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Furlong. That's going to slow Valentine down.
The fighters circling - Valentine throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Furlong counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Furlong ducks right into an uppercut from Valentine.
Valentine lands a nice looking body shot.
Valentine throws out a loose jab but Furlong uses good head movement to avoid it.
Furlong drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Furlong wants to lay and pray for a moment but Valentine keeps working.

Furlong misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Furlong is trying to get an arm triangle but Valentine is defending well.
Furlong tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Furlong wants to control but Valentine is keeping him busy.
Furlong looks up at the clock and then as Valentine takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Furlong smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Furlong is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Valentine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Furlong has hold of Valentine's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Valentine seems comfortable defending it but Furlong has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Valentine is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Valentine is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Furlong couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A very excited looking Edward Furlong rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
