Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Methuselah Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Heloise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture comes to the cage accompanied by wait, nvmnd! thats just the tapping of his cane as he walks.. Heloise has chosen Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Heloise as he checks the leg kick.

No joy there for Heloise, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Couture punishes Heloise's body with a nice straight punch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dustin Heloise hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Couture stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Couture cracks Heloise with an open hand slap.
Heloise throws a leg kick but Couture moved away.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Couture.
Heloise drops his hands momentarily and Couture takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Couture bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Heloise can't do much from the bottom here.
Couture is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Heloise knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Methuselah Couture will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Heloise does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Couture takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Heloise looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Couture. Heloise does a little dance to reset his feet.
Couture throws a solid leg kick but Heloise takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Couture.
The fight stays on the outside here - Couture looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Couture throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Heloise's waist but Heloise gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Couture off to one side.
Heloise lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Heloise throws a low kick but it's checked well by Couture.
Heloise dips to his left and cracks Couture with an uppercut!
Dustin Heloise seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Couture bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Heloise's head.
Couture's jab looks to have found its range, popping Heloise under the eye.
Heloise lands a nice looking kick to the body. Couture takes a step back to recover.

Couture wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Heloise throws a low kick but Couture moves out of range easily.
Couture will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Heloise throws a right hand that Couture ducks under and follows up with a left that Couture also avoids with ease.

Couture just misses with a punch to the body.

Couture seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Heloise for as long as he can get away with.

Couture changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heloise tries to avoid it but Couture manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heloise to the ground. Heloise escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Methuselah Couture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Couture closes this distance looking for a takedown but Heloise circles away.

Heloise throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Couture sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Couture is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Heloise's half guard.

Heloise might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Couture haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Couture wants to take a breather but Heloise is having none of it.
Heloise is looking for a sweep. Couture is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Couture is controlling the pace.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Heloise takes one to the chin there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Couture uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Heloise.
Heloise fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that's the end of the fight!
Methuselah Couture showed his dominance in that final round.
