Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rylan Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeru Mark Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gardner comes to the cage accompanied by Goodtimes. Takeru Mark Kyle is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeru Mark Kyle!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kyle doesn't seem bothered though.
Gardner takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Rylan Gardner has been cut.

Kyle tries to sprawl but Gardner drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kyle on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are battling for position here. Kyle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kyle doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Kyle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gardner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kyle is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Kyle throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Gardner wants to control from the top but Kyle keeps moving.

Kyle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gardner is aware though and is defending well.

Kyle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gardner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gardner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kyle has momentary wrist control but Gardner slips an elbow through the middle.

Kyle is looking for a triangle but Gardner pushes his legs off easily.

Gardner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kyle's head.
Kyle is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kyle passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gardner!
Gardner tries to hold on but Kyle pushes him away.
Gardner tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Gardner sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gardner wants to improve his position but Kyle is controlling well.
Gardner is doing well to control the position and prevent Kyle from advancing to side control.

A close round but Takeru Mark Kyle will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Gardner shoots in for a takedown but Kyle shows good takedown defense.
Gardner lands a jab to the head.
Kyle sizes up Gardner with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kyle moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Rylan Gardner's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kyle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A combination from Gardner does no damage.
Kyle lands with a nice body punch.
Kyle bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Gardner's head backwards.

Jeez, Rylan Gardner's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rylan Gardner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Takeru Mark Kyle tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
