Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jd Almanez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Efrain Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almanez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Rock Hood by Shinobi Ninja. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almanez cracks Vera with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Vera is looking to clinch.
Vera takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Vera clinches with his opponent.
Vera tries for a takedown but Almanez manages to get underhooks.
Almanez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Vera is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Almanez is defending well.

Vera shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Almanez sprawls well. Almanez wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vera gets slowly back to his feet.

Vera shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vera showed some decent athleticism there.
