The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Durant paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Good shot there by Durant.
Boom moves out of range as Durant throws a body kick.
Durant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Durant really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Durant shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Boom takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Durant misses with a takedown
and Boom counters with a head kick.
Kevin Durant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom tries a head kick but it misses.
Durant lands a jab to the nose.
Durant shoots in and drives through. Boom sprawls well.

Boom closes the distance and pushes Durant back into the cage.

Durant changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boom fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Boom uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Durant.

Durant throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Durant scores with a sloppy right hand. Boom should have avoided that one.

Boom looks for the body kick but Durant saw that one coming.
Durant tries for a takedown but Boom circles away easily
and Boom counters with an inside leg kick.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Durant.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Durant looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Boom is avoiding damage well.
Durant in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Boom is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
