Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Warren Rasmussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie has chosen we right here as his entrance music. Warren Rasmussen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Warren Rasmussen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Lie!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasmussen looks to land a combination. Lie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A good leg kick by Rasmussen.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rasmussen - the referee stops the clock and Lie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rasmussen. Lie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A jab lands there for Rasmussen.

Lie moves into the clinch successfully.

Lie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lie gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rasmussen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rasmussen lands a right hook to the body.
Lie looks winded!
Lie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rasmussen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Rasmussen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rasmussen fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lie on the side of the head.
Lie walks straight into a right hand from Rasmussen - that's dropped him! Rasmussen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Lie from any more punishment! Lie complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
