The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bechara slips a straight right by White.
White misses with a lunging right hand
and Bechara counters with a nice uppercut.
Evanildo Bechara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bechara dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on White. That did some damage!
White sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
White stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bechara.
Good leg kick by Bechara there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bechara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as White throws out the jab.

Bechara throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease.

and White counters with a stiff right hand.
White has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bechara finds it's way round the side to connect with White's head.

Bechara will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Bechara throws a series of punches but White moves out of range.
White throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bechara.
Bechara misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from White.

White takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Bechara throws a nice looking combination but White bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bechara looks for the body kick but White saw that one coming.
White might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
White throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bechara misses with a looping right.
White takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Bechara feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends White sprawling to the canvas! White rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bechara finish him?!
White on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Bechara is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Bechara tries a head kick but it misses.
Bechara tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
White moves forwards but Bechara connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bechara drops White with a big left hand! White is injured, injured bad! Bechara jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
