Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Cranswick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bryan Lester!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liam Cranswick!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lester was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lester decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Lester takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Cranswick throws a right and a left that Lester avoids nicely.
Lester takes one to the chin there.
Lester fails with a takedown attempt.
Cranswick lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lester darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cranswick wants to get back to his feet.
Lester scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Cranswick is trying to get back to full guard.
Lester is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cranswick is just riding it out for now. Lester eventually gives up the hold.

Cranswick is refusing to be controlled, as Lester sits in half guard.
Cranswick pushes Lester off and gets back to his feet.

Lester tries for a takedown but Cranswick sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cranswick thows a body shot but no joy.
Cranswick throws a lazy head kick
and Lester counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cranswick is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cranswick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lester lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Cranswick looks winded!
Lester closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lester is looking for a kimura but Cranswick is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lester to get the leverage.
Lester is controlling the pace.

Cranswick wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We're going to have a standup here because Bryan Lester wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Cranswick pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Cranswick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Cranswick misses with a two punch combination.
A jab from Cranswick finds it's way through Lester's defenses.
It looks like Bryan Lester has been cut.
Lester fails to land the takedown.
Cranswick swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lester counters with a head kick.
Lester changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cranswick tries to avoid it but Lester manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cranswick to the ground. Cranswick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cranswick fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lester misses with a takedown attempt - Cranswick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bryan Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lester uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cranswick.

Cranswick swats away the attempt to clinch by Lester.
Lester tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Lester counters with a nice kick to the body.

Lester is rocked!
Cranswick connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lester - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
