Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Kovalev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Peng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Peng!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalev misses with a body kick.
Kovalev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kovalev swings widly with a right hand
and Peng counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That was a close round but I would say that Victor Kovalev will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kovalev has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Peng is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Victor Kovalev will probably get the nod.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Peng manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Peng takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Kovalev's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
