Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bayden Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whitey Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to 1 hitta quitta 3 6 mafia. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Whitey Marsh !
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh moves in looking to clinch but Wood pushes him off.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wood with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Marsh on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wood throws a right and a left that Marsh avoids nicely.

Marsh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wood but Wood pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Marsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Wood swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Wood counters with a left and a right that stings Marsh .
Wood stalks Marsh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Marsh 's face. Marsh staggers backwards, shaken.
Marsh gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Wood.
Marsh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wood sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Marsh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wood paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wood tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.

Marsh shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wood manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wood looking to control.

Marsh drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wood dives on top into guard.
Wood is working Marsh over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Wood lands a couple of elbows.
Wood advances position into side control!

Wood looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Marsh wants to get back to his feet.

Wood is trying to get an arm triangle but Marsh is defending well.
Marsh tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wood wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wood thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wood has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Marsh moves in looking to clinch but Wood pushes him off.
Wood keeps the fight on the outside.
Wood throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wood lands with a thumping leg kick.
Marsh misses with a straight left.
Marsh chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wood can pounce on him.
Wood throws a quick inside leg kick.
Marsh doesn't manage to clinch there - Wood circles away.
Wood scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Marsh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wood swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Wood moves into range and clinches up with Marsh .
Marsh wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wood has him pressed against the cage.
Wood scores with a nice hook to the head.
Wood using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bayden Wood dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Wood looks to land a combination but Marsh avoids it well.
Marsh tries to clinch there but Wood circles away.
Marsh getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Marsh closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wood keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Marsh .
Marsh dives in and grabs Wood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wood pushes down on Marsh 's head and hops out.
Wood throws a right hand that Marsh ducks under and follows up with a left that Marsh also avoids with ease.
Marsh tries to clinch but Wood moves out of range.
Marsh takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Marsh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wood pinned against the cage. Wood gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Marsh throws a looping overhand right but Wood ducks down to avoid it.
Marsh cracks Wood with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Wood uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marsh .
Wood slips a straight right by Marsh .
Wood lands a nice leg kick that just misses Marsh 's sensitive parts.
Wood fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marsh .
Wood stalks Marsh and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Marsh 's face. Marsh staggers backwards, shaken.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marsh is looking to clinch but Wood is avoiding it.
Wood connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wood misses with a double jab.
Wood scores with a leg kick.
Wood scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.


Marsh is rocked!
Wood scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Marsh is still on wobbly legs! Can Wood finish him?
Wood cracks Marsh with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Marsh tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Wood pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Marsh is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bayden Wood!
A very excited looking Bayden Wood made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
