Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Christensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fuller is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hero of the Day (S&M concert). Chad Fuller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christensen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Chad Fuller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fuller clinches up with Christensen and pushes him back against the cage.

Fuller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fuller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fuller shoots in for a takedown but Christensen shows good takedown defense.
Fuller throws a series of punches but Christensen moves out of range.

Christensen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fuller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fuller takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Christensen has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Christensen lands a nice shot to the head.

Fuller is rocked!

It looks like Chad Fuller has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fuller is trying desperately to improve position.

Fuller wants to hold on but Christensen pushes him away.

Fuller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Christensen landing strikes from the mount and Fuller is in trouble!

Christensen is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fuller has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fuller!
Fuller is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Christensen is looking for a triangle but Fuller pushes his legs off easily.
Christensen wants to sweep but no luck.

Fuller won't allow Christensen to sweep him here.

Christensen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fuller is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Christensen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fuller's back instead.
