Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Schilling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Takanori Gomi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ben Schilling!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi works the jab nicely.

Schilling clinches up against the ropes.
Schilling misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Gomi working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Gomi lands a right hand that snaps the head of Schilling backwards.

Schilling drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Schilling keeping moving, preventing Gomi from controlling successfully.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Schilling wriggles free and stands up.

Gomi avoids the head kick by Schilling.
Schilling works the jab nicely.
Good exchange - Gomi coming out on top.
Gomi throws a good cross that connects.
Gomi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Schilling paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gomi throws a jab but it's blocked by Schilling.
Gomi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Schilling moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gomi ducks straight into an uppercut from Schilling and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Gomi manages to regain guard straight away.

Gomi is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gomi wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Schilling is now in half guard.
Oh Gomi is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Schilling stands up from half guard.
BAM! Schilling delivers a spinning backfist that drops Gomi like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
