Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jose Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Kroft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kroft has chosen Ironman - Black Sabbath as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jeremy Kroft was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Lopez has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Lopez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Kroft looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lopez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kroft is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lopez lets go of the hold and Kroft can pop his arm back in it's socket.
