Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Tso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edwards comes to the cage accompanied by The Who - Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting. Tso is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kung Fu Fighting. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, General Tso!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tso dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tso shoots in but Edwards avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Tso has a takedown stuffed.
Edwards walks into a jab.
Tso looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mark Edwards has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of General Tso.
Tso lands with a right hand.
Tso shoots in for a takedown but Edwards shows good takedown defense.
Tso misses with a looping left.
Tso connects with a body shot that sends Edwards's belly button to the back.
Tso shoots for a takedown but Edwards saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tso cracks a nice hook into Edwards's ribs.
Tso fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tso looks winded!
Tso tries for a takedown but Edwards sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Tso looks to score with a jab to the body but Edwards is just out of range.
Tso swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Edwards makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Tso is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Edwards rather than just go for the knockout.
Edwards keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Tso will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tso misses with a left hand

and Edwards counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tso! Edwards lets Tso back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Tso is rocked!

It looks like General Tso has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tso tries to score a power double leg takedown but Edwards sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tso somewhat.
Tso is still on wobbly legs! Can Edwards finish him?
Tso rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Edwards counters with a good, hard body kick but Tso shrugs it off.
Tso doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Edwards rattles Tso with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Tso tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Edwards dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Tso stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mark Edwards!
A very excited looking Mark Edwards rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
