The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ivanovic's sensitive parts.
Stevenson stuffs the takedown.

Ivanovic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ivanovic tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stevenson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Ivanovic is working for a kimura but Stevenson is defending it quite comfortably.

Ivanovic shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stevenson sprawls well. Stevenson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ivanovic gets slowly back to his feet.
Ivanovic shoots in but Stevenson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Andrew Stevenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Petr Ivanovic.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Stevenson lands a big head kick that sends Ivanovic to the canvas! Stevenson follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
