Austin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Barsby closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Barsby lands in his opponent's guard.

Barsby is nestled in close to Austin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That's time! Barsby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Barsby shoots in and bounces Austin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Austin trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Barsby wants to control from the top but Austin keeps moving.
Austin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Barsby!
Barsby knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Austin on the ground.
Austin throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Austin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Barsby is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Barsby and Austin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ben Barsby overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Austin is pressing down on Barsby's thigh, looking to free his foot. Barsby is holding on for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Barsby looks for a takedown but Austin sprawls well.

Barsby postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Jonas Austin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Austin looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Barsby is defending well. Austin quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Barsby has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Austin celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
