Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Emelianenko as Silva shoots in.
Danga de danga de dang - Silva scores with a four punch combination!
Emelianenko slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like Renato Silva has been cut.
A good leg kick by Emelianenko.
Silva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Emelianenko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Emelianenko fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Silva on the side of the head.
Silva throws a looping overhand right but Emelianenko ducks down to avoid it.
Silva throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Emelianenko counters with a series of strikes. Silva will be more careful next time no doubt.
Silva drives through and clinches with Emelianenko against the cage.
Emelianenko lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Silva is working for takedown but Emelianenko is calmly controlling the position for now.
Silva is looking to break free of the clinch but Emelianenko has double underhooks.
Silva misses with a short punch on the inside.
Silva has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Emelianenko after a bit of a struggle.
Alexander Emelianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Renato Silva.
Emelianenko lands a left hand that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
Silva drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silva looks winded!
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Emelianenko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Silva tries for a takedown. No joy.
Emelianenko misses with a body punch.

Emelianenko pushes Silva back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Emelianenko creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Emelianenko's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Emelianenko sends Silva crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Emelianenko is motioning to the referee to let Silva up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
That has opened up Renato Silva's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Emelianenko grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Silva takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Emelianenko cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
