Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raven Arcturus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Ichi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arcturus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is People Equal Sh*t. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ichi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ichi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ichi closes the distance but Arcturus moves to the side
and Arcturus cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Arcturus counters with a straight right hand.
Ichi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ichi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Arcturus's waist but Arcturus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ichi off to one side.
Arcturus connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ichi momentarily.
Arcturus takes the fight into the clinch.

Ichi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Arcturus walks away with a smile on his face. Ichi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Arcturus fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ichi is out of range.
Ichi looks for a takedown but Arcturus sprawls well.
Raven Arcturus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Ichi.
Arcturus paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Arcturus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nice uppercut lands for Arcturus. That snapped Ichi's head back.
Ichi is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Arcturus steps in with a hook that catches Ichi right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Arcturus follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Ichi looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raven Arcturus!
A relieved looking Raven Arcturus thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
