The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Espada lands a big head kick that sends Costa tumbling to the mat! Espada takes a step backwards and waves Costa back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jadyson Costa has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Espada tries a head kick but it misses.
Espada throws a head kick but Costa moves out of range.
Espada throws a sloppy head kick and Costa moves out of range easily.
Costa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Espada but Espada pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Costa misses with a takedown attempt - Espada sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Costa wants to stay close but Espada steps back to make room for something. Costa seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Espada and Costa drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fenix Espada!
A less than humble Fenix Espada misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
