Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Gilmour!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilmour looks to land a left hand but Calypso moved out of range nicely.
Gilmour shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Gilmour throws a leg kick that misses.
Calypso looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Calypso misses with a leg kick.
Calypso walks into a left hand.
Gilmour misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Calypso bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gilmour avoids the body shot from Calypso.
Gilmour stuffs the takedown.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gilmour.
Gilmour ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Calypso moves away.
Calypso takes one on the chin but seems OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gilmour lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gilmour stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gilmour wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Calypso. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gilmour will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Gilmour takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
David Gilmour is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Calypso. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Calypso shoots in for a double leg but Gilmour sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Calypso is breathing heavily.
Gilmour looks to land a right hand but Calypso moved out of range.
Calypso on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gilmour. Gilmour obviously looking to wear him down.
Gilmour throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
David Gilmour seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gilmour lands a right hook to the body.

Gilmour cracks Calypso with a good jab.
Calypso moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gilmour looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Calypso takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gilmour dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Calypso. That did some damage!
Gilmour throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gilmour looks to land a body kick but Calypso moved away.
Gilmour scores with a nice body kick.
Gilmour scores with the left hand. Calypso knows he should have avoided that one.
Some wild striking there from Gilmour.
Gilmour throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gilmour walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Calypso checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gilmour misses with a body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Calypso gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Gilmour moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The fighters circle, before Gilmour throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Calypso's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Gilmour lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). David Gilmour!
A relieved looking David Gilmour thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
