Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lisandro Licha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Ricard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Licha comes to the cage accompanied by In Bloom. Ricard has chosen Frank The Tank as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lisandro Licha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Ricard!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Licha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Licha swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ricard, as that shot connected.
Ricard throws a right hand that Licha ducks under and follows up with a left that Licha also avoids with ease.
Ricard misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ricard shoots in for a takedown but Licha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Licha will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

and Licha counters with a left and a right that hurts Ricard! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Licha jumps into full mount!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ricard is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Licha moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ricard has worked his arm free - good work by Ricard!

Licha is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ricard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ricard wants to control but Licha postures up.

Licha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Licha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Ricard manages to work his way to half guard, despite Licha's best efforts.

Ricard is defending against the submission attempts here by Licha.

Licha got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ricard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Licha has managed to get both his arms back between Ricard's legs - danger averted.
Ricard can't keep his opponent in guard - Licha advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

and Licha counters with a head kick that drops Ricard - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Licha is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Licha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ricard is just riding it out for now. Licha eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
No joy there for Ricard, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck for Ricard with that takedown attempt.

and Licha counters with a takedown into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lisandro Licha dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Licha counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Ricard off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Licha follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Ricard was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Lisandro Licha!
In his post fight interview, Lisandro Licha started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
