PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marion Cobretti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prime Time (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobretti comes to the cage accompanied by Frank Sinatra - Fly me to the moon. Prime Time struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Marion Cobretti has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Prime Time!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Time shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Time was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Cobretti is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Time off and has taken his back!

Cobretti is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Time defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Time is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Cobretti off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Time throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Time ducks right into an uppercut from Cobretti.
Time ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cobretti moves away.
Nice uppercut lands for Cobretti. That snapped Time's head back.
Time throws a half hearted mid kick.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Cobretti manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Time on his heels. He'll look to pass Time's guard now, I'm sure.

Cobretti drops back, looking for a kneebar! Time looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Time looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Time!

Time softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Cobretti is out cold! Time jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Prime Time!
A very excited looking Prime Time rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
