Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Eugene Hickock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sharp Pen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharp Pen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hickock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Pen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hickock did well to prevent Pen getting side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Pen tries to pass to full mount but Hickock defends it.

Pen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hickock has managed to free his arm - good work.

Pen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hickock's guard.
Pen wants to take a breather but Hickock is having none of it.

Pen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hickock is just riding it out for now. Pen eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pen won't allow Hickock to sweep him here.

That's time! Hickock's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Pen shoots in and drives through. Hickock sprawls well.
Hickock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pen avoids it really well and circles away.
Pen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hickock looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pen is fending him off so far but Hickock persists. Nope, Pen circles away and we're back to standing.

Hickock tries to clinch up but Pen circles away and keeps his distance.
Hickock shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pen sprawls well. Pen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hickock gets slowly back to his feet.

Pen shoots in looking for a takedown. Hickock tries to sprawl out of it but Pen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hickock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pen slaps away a takedown attempt from Hickock, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hickock is defended easily by Pen.

Pen shoots in and gets a takedown into Hickock's guard.
Pen postures up in Hickock's guard and throws a big left but Hickock blocks it.

Pen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hickock is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pen, into his guard.

Hickock has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Pen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hickock is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Pen pulls down on the head and he's put Hickock to sleep! This one is all over!
