The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rumia is looking to land body kicks.
Rumia fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Moldovan avoids it really well and circles away.
Rumia tries a head kick but it misses.

Rumia closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Moldovan quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rumia is trying to control. Moldovan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Moldovan wants to get back to his feet.

Well, if Rumia is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Rumia seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moldovan for as long as he can get away with.

Filip Rumia has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Rumia drives through with a takedown into Moldovan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Moldovan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rumia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rumia is standing up over Moldovan. Moldovan looks to escape but Rumia dives into side control.

Moldovan is looking to get back to his feet here but Rumia is keeping cool and he's managed to take Moldovan's back.
Moldovan is trying to get back to his feet but Rumia has full control of the position and if anything, Moldovan has just worked his way into a worse spot.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Rumia is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Moldovan has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Rumia has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Moldovan taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Rumia doesn't care though - he's delighted!
