The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vargas Jr, right into the meat.
Vargas Jr throws a body punch but Douglas moves out of range.

John Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Vargas Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Douglas has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Douglas is still on wobbly legs! Can Vargas Jr finish him?
Douglas tries to get into range but Vargas Jr steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Douglas! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Vargas Jr scores the big KO victory!
