The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laden fails with a takedown attempt.

and Otherside cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Laden misses with a takedown attempt - Otherside sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bin Laden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Laden shoots in looking for a takedown. Otherside tries to sprawl out of it but Laden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Otherside manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mortis Otherside is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Otherside misses with a hook. Laden ducked under it nicely.
Otherside lands a nice looking body shot.
Laden gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Otherside counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Otherside stuns Laden with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Laden looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Laden walks straight into a right hand from Otherside - that's dropped him! Otherside jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Laden from any more punishment! Laden complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
