Late gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Late moves into the clinch.

Late turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Late manages to end up in side control.

Late wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kai, who protects the arm well.
Late is working Kai over with some ground and pound from side control.
Kai is trying to control Late's posture but Late avoids it.

Late has hold of Kai's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kai tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Late cranks the arm and Kai screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kai, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
