Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caio Cesar Caprillo!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hex tries to clinch there but Caprillo circles away.
Caprillo looks for a takedown but Hex sprawls well.

Hex moves into the clinch successfully.
Hex misses with a knee to the head.
Caprillo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Hex is defending well.
Caprillo tries for a takedown but Hex manages to get underhooks.
Jonah Hex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caio Cesar Caprillo.
Caprillo letting Hex take a breather here.
Caprillo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Caprillo lands a takedown into guard.
Caprillo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hex swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hex wriggles free and stands up.
Hex connects with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hex closes the distance but Caprillo moves to the side
and Caprillo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hex's knee momentarily.
Hex tries to close the distance and clinch up but Caprillo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jonah Hex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hex fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Hex moves into the clinch.
Caprillo is trying to pull guard but Hex has him pressed against the cage.
Hex unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Caprillo looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hex gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Hex drops Caprillo with a big knee straight up the middle! Caprillo is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Caprillo is rocked!

It looks like Caio Cesar Caprillo has been cut.

Hex pushes Caprillo up against the cage in a clinch.
Caprillo is still on wobbly legs! Can Hex finish him?
Hex lands a huge knee in the clinch and it's knocked Caprillo out! Massive knee - he's celebrating with his corner and the crowd showing their appreciation!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Jonah Hex!
