PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Danger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua comes into the arena with Flo Rida- 54321 blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rua buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Danger fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rua, pushing him back against the cage.
Rua utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Rua is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Danger blocks an elbow strike from Rua.
Rua tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Rua connects with a knee to the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rua escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Oooh a lovely combination from Rua sends Danger down but not out. Rua dives into side control looking to finish.

Danger is rocked!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rua lands a strong strike to the head of Danger. That's dazed him! Rua looking to finish here. Danger is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Rua lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Rua!
