And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maynard keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Maynard lands a left and a right that send Pongolle crashing to the mat, dazed. Maynard thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jean Pierre Pongolle has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pongolle shoots in but Maynard avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pongolle shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maynard but Maynard pushes him off and we're back to square one.
John Maynard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jean Pierre Pongolle.
Pongolle shoots in but no luck this time.
Maynard throws a right and a left that both miss.
OH! Pongolle has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Maynard smells blood and charges in for the finish! Maynard unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Pongolle sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
