The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Royale tries for a takedown but Victorious circles away easily
and Victorious counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Royale shoots in for a takedown but Victorious shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Royale looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Royale throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Victorious tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Royale is in Victorious 's guard.

Royale avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Victorious manages to escape and get back to his feet.

and Victorious counters with a head kick. That will keep Royale thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Victorious has gone for a leg lock! Royale slips out almost immediately though and dives into Victorious 's guard.

Royale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Victorious swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Victorious is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Royale is aware though and is defending well.

Victorious utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Victorious had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Royale defends it easily.
