Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve River (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brilliant Brian Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think River might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Tom Petty - I Won't Back Down . Brilliant Brian Winchester will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract River.
River throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brilliant Brian Winchester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winchester misses with a head kick.

Winchester tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but River was well out of range. Poor timing from Winchester.
Winchester scores with a nice right hand.
River lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Good leg kick by River there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
River lands with a good body shot.

Winchester swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Winchester feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rivers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Winchester crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from River - the referee stops the clock and Winchester gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says River. Winchester manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Winchester looks winded!

Winchester gets tackled into the cage by River. River maintains the clinch.
Winchester looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
River lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Winchester backwards.
The referee calls for River to work.
River keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Winchester's efforts to push away.
Winchester is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

River pushes Winchester back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

River's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Oooooh!!! River has knocked Winchester down with a huge combo! River steps away and waves a wobbly Winchester back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Brilliant Brian Winchester has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Winchester chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before River can pounce on him.
Winchester is still on wobbly legs! Can River finish him?
River moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Winchester takes a shot to the body in his stride.
River knocks out Winchester with a massive right hand! The ref tackles River before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. River picks up the big W with a huge KO!

After winning the bout, Steve River thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
