PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lancelot Liquid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jo So (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liquid comes to the cage accompanied by Cemetery Polka. So has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jo So enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lancelot Liquid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jo So!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liquid blocks a head kick by So.
So shoots in looking for a takedown but Liquid manages to keep the fight standing, pushing So's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Liquid moves into the clinch.

Liquid pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Liquid feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends So sprawling to the canvas! So rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Liquid finish him?!

It looks like Jo So has been cut.
So looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Liquid pivots, looking for a leg kick but So is out of range and Liquid settles back down.
Liquid misses with a two punch combination.
Liquid throws a right and a left that So avoids nicely.
Liquid connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends So to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Liquid!
