Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dic Cheddars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nom Nomm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nomm has chosen Nyan Cat as his entrance music. Dic Cheddars had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nomm slips a jab and a cross from Cheddars.
Cheddars misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cheddars tries a head kick but it misses.
Cheddars has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cheddars there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nomm misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cheddars really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cheddars tries to clinch but Nomm is having none of it.
Cheddars throws a nice looking combination but Nomm bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nomm moves out of range of the strikes.
Cheddars gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Nomm counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Nomm blocks the strikes from Cheddars.
Nomm tries to stand but can't do so whilst Cheddars controls his leg.

Cheddars is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Nomm is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Nomm stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Nomm lands a nice shot to the body.
Cheddars fails with the takedown
and Nomm counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Cheddars moves in looking to clinch but Nomm pushes him off.

and Nomm counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dic Cheddars. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cheddars is breathing heavily.
Cheddars holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Nomm tries to stand and escape but Cheddars is controlling the position.
Cheddars is looking to improve his position.
Cheddars has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Nomm decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Cheddars swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Nomm counters with a single leg into guard. Cheddars didn't expect that.
Nomm wants to stand but Cheddars has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Cheddars trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Cheddars is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Nomm stands up and waves to Cheddars to follow him.
Nomm throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cheddars misses with a looping left.
Dic Cheddars seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A lazy left from Nomm finds it's target.
Nomm moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Dic Cheddars has been cut.
Cheddars throws a push kick but Nomm slaps the foot to one side.

Nomm with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Cheddars is looking to clinch but Nomm is avoiding it.
Cheddars misses with a takedown attempt - Nomm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cheddars looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nomm pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cheddars back to the cage. Nomm follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Cheddars throws a sloppy head kick and Nomm moves out of range easily.
Nomm blocks a head kick by Cheddars.
Nomm lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cheddars gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Cheddars is rocked!
Nomm takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Oh Cheddars is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Cheddars misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cheddars seems to have got his legs back now.

Nomm swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nomm connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Cheddars is looking to clinch.
Nomm closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Nomm misses with a double jab.
Cheddars displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Nice takedown defense from Nomm. No joy for Cheddars on that attempt.
Nomm lands a lovely overhand right.
Cheddars misses with a double jab.
Cheddars moves in looking to clinch but Nomm pushes him off.
Nomm lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nomm avoids the head kick by Cheddars.
Nomm connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Cheddars! He's out on his feet! Nomm rushes in and drops Cheddars with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Nom Nomm thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
