Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between This Is Just A Test Grrrrrrrrrrr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Dale Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Dale Johnson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Grrrrrrrrrrr is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Grrrrrrrrrrr circles away and we're back to standing.
Grrrrrrrrrrr loads up on a big right hand but Johnson slips the punch.

Grrrrrrrrrrr misses with a low kick.
Grrrrrrrrrrr thuds his right hand into Johnson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Grrrrrrrrrrr throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson drops his hands momentarily and Grrrrrrrrrrr takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Horrible takedown by Johnson or perhaps it was just good defense by Grrrrrrrrrrr which made him look bad.

Grrrrrrrrrrr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johnson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Johnson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Johnson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Grrrrrrrrrrr motions for Johnson to come forward. Grrrrrrrrrrr throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Grrrrrrrrrrr is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grrrrrrrrrrr throws out the jab.

Grrrrrrrrrrr throws a hook to the side of Johnson's head but Johnson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
This Is Just A Test Grrrrrrrrrrr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grrrrrrrrrrr thows a left - swing and a miss!
Johnson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Grrrrrrrrrrr.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grrrrrrrrrrr throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
Johnson walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Grrrrrrrrrrr throws a lazy right hand but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
This Is Just A Test Grrrrrrrrrrr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grrrrrrrrrrr throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.
This Is Just A Test Grrrrrrrrrrr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Dale Johnson.
Johnson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Grrrrrrrrrrr can't do much from the bottom here.

Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Grrrrrrrrrrr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.
Johnson in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Grrrrrrrrrrr tries to improve position but can't.
Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Grrrrrrrrrrr is trying to control Johnson's posture but Johnson avoids it.
Johnson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Johnson is working to tighten is grip on Grrrrrrrrrrr's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Grrrrrrrrrrr has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Johnson is really squeezing tight and eventually Grrrrrrrrrrr passes out! Johnson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
