Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Volkovniakoiv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Gold in these hills. Volkovniakoiv has chosen Russian National Anthem - Rock Version as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vladimir Volkovniakoiv has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vladimir Volkovniakoiv!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volkovniakoiv moves in looking to clinch but Hunter pushes him off.
Volkovniakoiv looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Volkovniakoiv tries to clinch up but Hunter circles away and keeps his distance.
Volkovniakoiv is looking to clinch but Hunter is avoiding it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Volkovniakoiv looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Volkovniakoiv closes the distance but Hunter moves to the side
and Hunter counters with a head kick. That will keep Volkovniakoiv thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Volkovniakoiv manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hunter on his heels. He'll look to pass Hunter's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

In his post fight interview, Vladimir Volkovniakoiv started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
