Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cruz clinches up against the cage.
Cruz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Cruz jumps into guard, dragging Mo to the mat.
Mo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ro Mo.

Mo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mo cracks Cruz with a solid left hand.
Cruz being controlled here, momentarily.
Mo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Mo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mo content to stall in guard here.
Mo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cruz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ro Mo.

Mo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cruz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Mo landing strikes.
Cruz takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Mo controls the position from side control.

Mo is trying to get an arm triangle but Cruz is defending well.
Mo lands a nice forearm strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Mo has hold of Cruz's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Cruz seems comfortable defending it but Mo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Cruz is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Cruz is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
