Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hajime Kawaguchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bell has chosen fight music as his entrance music. Matthew bell will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hajime Kawaguchi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matthew bell! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! bell fakes the leg kick and cracks Kawaguchi in the body. bell takes the fight into the clinch. Kawaguchi has bell pressed against the cage.
Kawaguchi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. bell lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Hajime Kawaguchi has been cut. bell fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kawaguchi goes for a takedown in the clinch but bell prevents it.
bell avoiding damage as Kawaguchi throws knees to the body.
bell has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kawaguchi uses from the top position. bell tries to land a sweep but no joy. bell keeping moving, preventing Kawaguchi from controlling successfully. bell looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kawaguchi is one step ahead there. bell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kawaguchi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kawaguchi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. bell tries to land a sweep but no joy. bell is trying to control the position but Kawaguchi postures up. Kawaguchi wants to control from the top but bell keeps moving. Kawaguchi is breathing heavily. Kawaguchi controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kawaguchi closes this distance looking for a takedown but bell circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hajime Kawaguchi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kawaguchi shoots in but no luck this time. A right-left combo lands from bell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. bell drops Kawaguchi with a left and a right! Oh, Kawaguchi is hurt - bell dives into side control looking to finish!
Kawaguchi is rocked!
Hajime Kawaguchi's cut is getting worse. bell lands a strong strike to the head of Kawaguchi. That's dazed him! bell looking to finish here. Kawaguchi is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - bell lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matthew bell!
