The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
So wants to clinch
enabling Liquid to counter with a crisp jab.
So displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Liquid throws out the jab.
So misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A head kick misses from So.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Liquid throws a nice looking combination but So bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
So checks a low kick from Liquid.

Liquid lands a left and a right that send So crashing to the mat, dazed. Liquid thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jo So has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
So tries to close the distance and clinch up but Liquid swats him away and circles back towards the center.
So dodges the punch combination from Liquid.
So wants to clinch up but Liquid keeps it at a distance.
Liquid takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Liquid misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Liquid connects with a combination that backs up So into the cage. Liquid lands a flurry of punches that gets past So's guard. So is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Liquid bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
