Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Giovanni Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Munsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Balboa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fratelli D'Italia. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa moves out of range as Munsy strikes.
Balboa doesn't manage to clinch there - Munsy circles away.
Balboa has Munsy up against the cage in a clinch.
Balboa controlling the action here for a moment.
Munsy blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Balboa blocks the elbow strike.
Munsy drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Balboa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Balboa works on Munsy's body with a couple of short punches.
Nice body punch from Balboa.

Balboa lands with a light punch inside.
It looks like Mike Munsy has been cut.
Balboa is pushing Munsy up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Balboa scores with a shoulder strike.

Balboa is pressed up against the cage. Munsy has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Balboa down to the mat. Balboa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Balboa connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Munsy momentarily.
Balboa tries to clinch up.
Munsy throws a wild body kick that Balboa sees coming a mile off.
Munsy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Balboa misses with a left hand
and Munsy counters with a nice uppercut.
Balboa connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Munsy to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Balboa!
