And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carl Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hall rushes Johnson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hall lands with a right to the head.
Hall lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Johnson wants to take the fight to the mat but Hall manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Hall lands a body shot.
Johnson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Hall manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hall tries to clinch but Johnson moves out of range.
Hall is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hall is looking to clinch but Johnson is avoiding it.
Decent striking displayed by Hall there.
A jab lands there for Hall.
Hall is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Hall circles away easily
and Hall counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Brian Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carl Johnson.
Johnson looks winded!

Hall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Johnson, pushing him back against the cage.

Johnson is trying to pull guard but Hall has him pressed against the cage.
Hall lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Johnson.
Still in the clinch, Hall scores with a nice short uppercut.
Hall lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Hall manages to break the clinch.
Brian Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hall cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Johnson looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hall finish him?

It looks like Carl Johnson has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hall moves into the clinch.

Hall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hall doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Hall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
OH! Johnson has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Hall smells blood and charges in for the finish! Hall unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Johnson sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brian Hall!
