Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmonray Flauta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hamood Hallak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hamood Hallak is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dmonray Flauta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hamood Hallak!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Flauta.
Flauta dodges the punch combination from Hallak.
Flauta looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hallak lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.


It looks like Dmonray Flauta has been cut.

Hallak shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hallak showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Flauta blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hallak.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hallak throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hallak sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Flauta defending well though.
Flauta is not content to let Hallak control the position.
Flauta regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hallak.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hallak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Flauta is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hallak is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Hallak postures up in Flauta's guard and throws a big left but Flauta blocks it.
Flauta lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hallak!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Flauta thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Flauta jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hallak is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hallak and Flauta has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hallak tries to bench press Flauta off him but Flauta keeps the position.
Flauta misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Flauta wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hallak, who protects the arm well.
Flauta throwing strikes but Hallak manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
You can see the frustration on Flauta's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hallak fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Hallak working the ground and pound but Flauta is defending the strikes.
Flauta manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Hallak thows a huge punch but Flauta dodges it nicely.
Hallak thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Flauta's head.

Hallak is keen to just control but Flauta is a slippery customer.
Flauta has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hallak is working away from the top position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hallak is trying to work for a kimura but Flauta is defending well.
Hallak slips a nice elbow through Flauta's hands, connecting with Flauta's forehead.
Hallak throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Flauta to regain full guard.
Hallak lands a couple of elbows.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hallak missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hallak gets to his feet - Flauta follows without any prompting.
Hallak with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Flauta walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Flauta stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Flauta wants it to stay on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hamood Hallak dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dmonray Flauta's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Hallak throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Flauta crashing down! Flauta tries to stagger back to his feet but Hallak just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Flauta asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hamood Hallak!
A very excited looking Hamood Hallak made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
