The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Paul looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Paul shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

It looks like Trent Profittt has been cut.

Paul prevents Profittt from getting the reversal.
Paul takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Paul is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Profittt can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
