Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phyuck Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Ponomaryov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Jah Guide. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yu has a takedown stuffed.
Yu feints and as Ponomaryov raises his hands in defense, Yu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ponomaryov keeping moving, preventing Yu from controlling successfully.

Ponomaryov thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Yu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yu tries to get out of the position.
Yu wants to sweep here but Ponomaryov controlling him for the moment.
Yu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ponomaryov wants to improve his position but Yu is controlling well.

Yu is looking to take a break and control but Ponomaryov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ponomaryov is trying to maintain the position but Yu is very close to passing his half guard.
Ponomaryov is trying to keep from getting into a worse position than he's already in but Ponomaryov is working away and isn't letting himself get tied up.
Yu is trying to control the action in half guard but Ponomaryov is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ponomaryov tries to roll over but Yu keeps him under control.
Ponomaryov is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Ponomaryov tries to kick Yu off but Yu keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A jab-cross combination lands for Ponomaryov and sends Yu crashing to the mat! Ponomaryov follows him down to the mat - Yu regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Yu is rocked!
It looks like Phyuck Yu has been cut.
Ponomaryov stands up out of the half guard.
Ponomaryov cracks Yu with a hook to the temple - Yu is on wobbly legs here! Ponomaryov swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Yu falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ponomaryov wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Konstantin Ponomaryov!
