Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between I.P. Daily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aran Schmeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). P. Daily and Aran Schmeck. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daily tries to clinch there but Schmeck circles away.
Daily on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Daily dips to his left and cracks Schmeck with an uppercut!
Schmeck on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Schmeck takes a swing at Daily's ribcage but misses.
Schmeck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Daily manages to avoid it.

No joy there for Daily, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Schmeck shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daily but Daily pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Daily lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Daily connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Schmeck thows a left - swing and a miss!
Schmeck swings for the body but Daily moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Schmeck lands a nice shot that snaps Daily's head back.
Daily will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Schmeck has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Schmeck throws an elbow but Daily slips to the side and avoids it well.
Daily pushes Schmeck away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Schmeck gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Schmeck goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Daily has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Schmeck but great work by Daily.

Schmeck has his foot on Daily's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Daily works his way back into a safe position though.

Schmeck is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Daily is aware though and is defending well.

Schmeck switches off momentarily and Daily cracks him with a monster right hand! Schmeck topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Daily dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Daily!
