Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacare dos Diabos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thunder Lightning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dos Diabos kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Festivo - Zatoichi OST. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lightning shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in dos Diabos's guard.

Lightning slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lightning seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

dos Diabos has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lightning is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for dos Diabos.

Lightning decides to stand up, so the ref orders dos Diabos to his feet.

Lightning is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
