Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Kroft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chrystov Aleksey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kroft comes to the cage accompanied by Ironman - Black Sabbath. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aleksey throws a good cross that connects.

Aleksey is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kroft's half guard.
Kroft is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Aleksey thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Aleksey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kroft keeps working.

Kroft knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aleksey on the ground.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Aleksey connects with a nice short shot to Kroft's temple.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Aleksey seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kroft is not content to let Aleksey control the position.
Aleksey looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Aleksey is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Aleksey stops Kroft from getting back to his feet.
Aleksey perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Aleksey slips a nice elbow through Kroft's hands, connecting with Kroft's forehead.

Kroft has hold of Aleksey's hands but Aleksey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

After winning the bout, Chrystov Aleksey thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
