The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearson throws a shot from downtown. Llorente moves away and avoids it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Llorente. Pearson does a little dance to reset his feet.

Pearson lands a nice hook to Llorente's body. Llorente takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Wayne Pearson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pearson looks to throw the jab but Llorente is out of range.

Pearson lands a nice hook to Llorente's body. Llorente takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pearson lands a really nice looking cross but Llorente seems unphased.

Oh Llorente is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Pearson counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Llorente badly! Pearson follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Llorente out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Pearson finished him against the cage.

A relieved looking Wayne Pearson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
