Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Doug Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Wait (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wait comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Times Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilbert shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wait defends it nicely.

Gilbert throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wait was covering up waiting for the punch and Gilbert finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wait really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gilbert. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
