Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Kondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny McKellan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuki Kondo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lenny McKellan!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKellan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McKellan lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
McKellan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kondo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
McKellan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McKellan closes the distance and lands a one-two.
McKellan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McKellan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kondo's hands.
McKellan misses with a double jab.
McKellan dips to his left and cracks Kondo with an uppercut!
Kondo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
No joy there for McKellan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McKellan lands a jab-cross combination.
McKellan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McKellan lands a head shot.
McKellan throws a series of punches but Kondo moves out of range.
McKellan looks to land a combination but Kondo avoids it well.
McKellan looks winded!
McKellan lands with a nice combination. Kondo backs away looking to recover.

Kondo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Kondo decides to stand up, so the ref orders McKellan to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kondo tries to clinch there but McKellan circles away.
McKellan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kondo slips under a jab from McKellan.

Kondo dives in and scores a takedown into McKellan's guard.
McKellan can't keep his opponent in guard - Kondo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kondo is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Kondo decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
McKellan ducks under a wild hook from Kondo.

Kondo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McKellan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kondo is in McKellan's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kondo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kondo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on McKellan, up you get!
Kondo is trying hard to land a takedown here. McKellan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lenny McKellan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kondo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for McKellan!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kondo cracks McKellan with an elbow. That is naaassty.
McKellan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
McKellan is trying to buck Kondo off.
McKellan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kondo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kondo has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Kondo controlling the position easily from mount.

Kondo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. McKellan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kondo off and cradles McKellan's limp body as Kondo celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Yuki Kondo!
